In order to serve the community more efficiently as well as to expand the service activities of the organization, the members of the Sai Cantre elected to invest on a building of their own, and in the year 2002 we purchased 3 acres of land for $850,000 on Finch Avenue East. We are proud to say that this was only possible due to the generous donations made by the devotees and the well wishers.


Over the last eight years with the help of the community the organization managed to raise sufficient funds to commence the building for the Centre. The building is approximately 20,000 sq ft.at two levels. the estimated cost of the project is approximately $4.9 million. The ground breaking ceremony for the building was launched in the fall of 2009, and the construction of the first phase of the building commenced in the spring of 2010 and so far the main structure of the building is almost completed ( 75%) at a cost of $3.1 million.



The upper level of the building consists of a prayer hall of 8100 sq ft, a room in devotion to Sri Sathya Sai Baba and a stage for cultural activities. The lower level consists of a multipurpose hall of 6000sq ft., class rooms, kitchen,library and washrooms. It is worthy to note that in order to save cost many of our devotees including the youths had volunteered in many ways in the construction of certain section of the lower level of the building.




Sri Sathya Sai Baba has blessed this project and we are dedicating this to Sri Sathya Sai Babathe community we serve.
