Educare
Many of our youth have decided to use their time to help teach values and instill a sense of right and wrong through the Educare program set forth by Sri Sathya Sai Baba. Every sunday they dedicate one and a half hours to teaching children at Woburn CI. Our youth have varying roles in the Educare wing from assistants to Guru's. Due to their age the youth are in a unique position to be able to provide a view of the material taught in class through their life experiences. This makes the material less abstract for the students to absorb and allows the students to better relate to the material without losing the meaning or the lessons taught.
Bhajans
Bhajans provides a one on one communication with Sai Baba and many of the youth use this medium to express their love and devotion to Sai Baba through music. Bhajans allows the youth to further educated themselves on Sai Baba and his teachings.
A youth bhajan is held every few months where the youth are incharge of setting up the altar, sound system, crowd control, distribution of prasadam. Furthermore, the youth are tasked with conducting the bhajans from start to finish. This allows the youths to not only have the opportunity to sing and perform, but it also allows the youths to take more of a leadership role to run a successful bhajan.
